He led several early drug development programs and had global strategic and portfolio management roles at Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Anji Pharma and Tacalyx
He is scientific advisor to Exazyme, Berlin, Germany, and to the Singapore Gastric Cancer Consortium
Matthias has authored more than 140 scientific publications and book chapters with an h-index of 47 and serves as an editorial board member for several peer reviewed journals
Matthias is a bicycle enthusiast supporting Team Rynkeby to raise money for child cancer foundations
